Business Administration Intern

Overview

Kids in the Game offers sport and enrichment programs in schools and communities throughout New York City. Our goal is to provide positive experiences and opportunities through sports and creative play, helping children embrace new experiences, adopt healthy lifestyles, and build integrity. What We Are Looking For

This role reports directly to the Director of Customer Experience and supports the Marketing Coordinator. The intern will interface with our community publicly, our customers privately, and the Kids in the Game team internally, cultivating positive relationships and contributing to strategy and implementation.

Internships run seasonal throughout the year, 14‑18 weeks long, 25‑35 hours per week in person at our office.

  • Fall 2025: September 8 – December 19
  • Spring 2026: January 12 – May 15
  • Summer 2026: May 18 – August 21

Compensation: Internships are unpaid for the first term. A $200‑$300 completion bonus is offered, with potential part‑time paid extension and class credit.

Key Functions
  • Engage with prospective customers via phone, email, and scheduled events.

  • Assist with customer support processes (payment processing, form collection, health records, etc.).
  • Conduct market research via surveys, interviews, focus groups, on‑site observations, and analyze reports.
  • Collaborate internally to ensure stakeholders have necessary information.
