Job summary

Omnitrans, serving the San Bernardino Valley, seeks a Vehicle Service Worker to maintain and clean fleet vehicles and operate fueling duties. A Class B permit with air brakes and passenger endorsements is required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire, with training provided.

The role covers both San Bernardino and Montclair divisions, including swing and graveyard shifts. Responsibilities include fueling, cleaning, checking fluids, monitoring safety systems, and moving stock between sites.

Qualifications

• One year experience in vehicle service, cleaning, and/or maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must provide a State of California Class B permit/endorsement before first day.
• Must obtain and maintain a Class B license with passenger endorsements after training.
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Service automobiles and motor coaches and sanitize vehicles.
• Dispense fuel and check levels, fluids, and safety items.
• Inspect for leaks, tire pressure, lighting and report defects.
• Move rolling stock between divisions and to vendors as needed.
• Support clean work areas and follow safety procedures.
