Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management seeks a courteous server to clear and reset tables, assist food servers, and provide attentive service to guests. The role supports maintaining cleanliness, stock control, and adherence to health and safety standards in a busy hotel restaurant.

Responsibilities include assisting with beverage service, pre-busing, and supporting servers during peak periods. The position emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and professional presentation in a fast-paced hospitality

Qualifications

• Knowledge of State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations for serving alcohol.
• Hold a current Food Handler Card or in the process of certification.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware.
• Basic English to understand inquiries and give simple instructions.
• Ability to read product labeling instructions for safe use of hotel products.

Responsibilities

• Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting.
• Promptly and consistently reset all service ware as prescribed.
• Maintain total cleanliness of restaurant to meet hotel and health standards.
• Stock and clean stations with necessary equipment including silverware, linen and condiments.
• Serve beverages, breads and butter and replenish as needed.
• Transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area for cleaning.
• Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel products as assigned.
• Fold napkins/roll silverware to maintain adequate supply.
• Maintain service stations with supplies before, during and after shifts.
• Assist servers in delivery of orders and pre-busing tables.
• Perform other duties as requested to ensure total guest satisfaction.
• Adhere to company policies and safety procedures.
• Know department fire prevention and emergency procedures.
• Use protective equipment and report unsafe conditions.
• Maintain neat, clean and well groomed appearance per handbook.
• Assist other restaurant personnel when needed.
