Responsibilities

• Inspect product for quality issues that affect final paint appearance.
• Prepare parts for painting through inspection, surface prep, and cleaning.
• Mix coatings with reducer and catalyst at correct mixtures using color equipment.
• Apply primers/topcoat with gravity fed or pressure fed spray equipment.
• Apply all coats with spray equipment to meet coverage and gloss standards.
• Read and record dry paint thickness using a Mil Reader.
• Maintain spray equipment to meet operational standards.
• Keep paint booth clean and filter changes up to 5S standards.
• Ensure hazardous waste is handled and disposed of properly.
