Job summary

Suffield Public Schools is seeking a Student Support Staff/Bus Monitor to supervise students on school transportation and ensure their safety during bus rides. You will help keep students seated and orderly while the vehicle is in motion.

This position is part-time during the school year with a fixed schedule: mornings from 6:20 am to 8:45 am and afternoons from 1:45 pm to 4:00 pm, with work available ASAP or for the 2026-2027 school year. Reports to School Administration.

Responsibilities

• Ride the school bus with students.
• Assure that students are safely in seats and stay seated throughout bus ride.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
