Job summary

Tri County Transportation Inc. is seeking a Bus Aide to assist students boarding and exiting the bus and to ensure safe arrival at destinations in Marion Center, PA.

The role emphasizes helping the Driver stay focused on driving tasks and maintaining a secure, respectful environment onboard. The Bus Aide will greet students pleasantly, assist as needed, and perform end-of-tour checks to confirm all passengers are safe.

Responsibilities

• Help the Driver focus on driving responsibilities
• Greet students in a pleasant manner
• Help students as necessary
• Ensure all students arrive safely at their destination
• Perform child checks at the conclusion of every tour of duty
• Always maintain a safe environment on the bus
• Kneeling and fastening wheelchair restraints
• Bending and stooping as needed to assist with various tasks
• Ascending and descending stairs of school bus
• Fastening children securely in seats
• Performing other related tasks as required
