Job summary

Avalon Transportation in Irving, TX seeks a Bus Washer to keep our fleet clean and presentable for service. You will perform exterior and interior cleaning, complying with safety and appearance standards.

Responsibilities include wash operations, reporting needed repairs, assisting drivers, and maintaining supplies. Benefits include medical, dental, vision coverage, a 401K, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of vehicle parts.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions both verbally and written.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must use manual dexterity and body coordination to perform various tasks; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide services for lavatory cleaning, including dumping and refilling toilets.
• Remove graffiti or spots before the vehicle goes out into service.
• Report any required mechanical repairs to the Maintenance Department.
• Remove outdated materials and replace any in bad condition.
• Assist drivers, dispatchers, and supervisors to ensure timely AM / PM pullout.
• Maintain a clean bus wash/fuel bay area.
• Maintain a list of supplies needed to perform duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
