Bus Drivers play a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience and supporting Mission Ridge's overall operations. This position involves transporting guests and employees between the Mission Ridge parking lot and offsite parking areas using resort shuttle buses. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, punctual, well-organized, and possess strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Bus Drivers are responsible for daily pre- and post-trip vehicle safety checks, maintaining a clean bus environment, assisting guests with gear and equipment, and ensuring safe and timely transportation. Flexibility is essential, as drivers may be called upon to assist with other duties or parking plans during peak periods or inclement weather.
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license. Previous driving or customer service experience is preferred but not required. Applicants must be insurable under company policies and capable of operating vehicles safely in mountain environments. No formal education requirements are specified, but strong communication skills and reliability are essential for success in this role.
This position involves operating a shuttle bus in mountain driving conditions and working outdoors for extended periods. Drivers must be prepared for all types of weather, including snow, wind, rain, fog, and sunshine. Weekend and holiday shifts are expected during the ski season. Mission Ridge is a drug- and alcohol-free workplace and maintains a non-smoking environment. Due to the seasonal nature of the ski industry, hours may be reduced or adjusted depending on weather and operational needs.
