Job summary

Zachry Group in Gregory, TX is seeking a bus driver to shuttle employees from the parking lot to the worksite and assist with basic duties as directed by a supervisor. This is a maintenance role with no per diem.

Candidates must hold a valid CDL with Passenger endorsement, pass a DOT drug/health screen, and meet safety requirements. You must have reliable transportation and the ability to work a full schedule, including overtime.

JOB DESCRIPTION

***THIS IS MAINTENANCE***NO PER DIEM***

Bus Drivers will transport employees to and from the employee parking lot to the work area and assist with various manual needs of the construction work being performed and any other work instructed by a supervisor or journeyman.

Qualification Highlights

• Must have a current Driver’s License - CDL with P Endorsement
• Must have reliable transportation.

Required Qualifications

Job Requirements

• Current Zachry or Zachry ROF’ed employee.
• Former experience working with Zachry Industrial, Inc.
• Formal/Technical education.

Physical Requirements

• Employees will be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting, and lifting.
• Will talk and hear to communicate.
• Will use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull: objects, materials, controls, and tools.
• May be required to pick up, lift, carry and move up to 50lbs.
• Will work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and may occasionally work off of platforms/scaffolding using the appropriate fall protection requirements.
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold, and wind) while wearing appropriate PPE.
• Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses/spoggles, ear plugs, masks/respirators, hi-vis safety vests, leather gloves, and leather steel-toed work boots.
