Job summary

Mascotte Charter School is seeking a Bus Driver for the 2026-2027 school year. Must have a Florida CDL with S and P endorsements. Split shift, 20 hours per week, providing safe transportation to and from school bus stops, extracurricular activities, and events.

Responsibilities include pre/post trip inspections, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, assisting riders with special needs, instructing children on safety, signaling crossings, and reporting defects to the mechanic.

Qualifications

• Must have a Florida Commercial Driver’s License with proper endorsements.
• Must pass annual dexterity test and physical exam.
• Must maintain an acceptable driving record for the past seven years.
• Must be able to work split shift and 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe transportation of students to and from stops and events.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Assist riders with special needs and enforce safety rules.
• Report vehicle defects to the mechanic and update routes.
