Forest Area Community Schools is a small district in northern Michigan serving about 500 PreK‑12 students in Fife Lake and South Boardman. We are seeking a bus driver to join our transportation team, working approximately 4 ½ hours per day Monday through Friday when school is in session.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Transport students to and from their homes to Forest Area Schools
• Work Monday – Friday; approximately 4 ½ hours per day

Qualifications

• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with school bus endorsement preferred; willing to train the right person
• Ability to work well with others and children of all ages
• Strong desire to build and maintain positive relationships with students

Additional Requirements

• At least 1 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
• High School/Trade School degree preferred.

Compensation

This position is compensated according to the AFSCME contract.
