Job summary

Milwaukee Transport Services Inc. (Milwaukee County Transit System) seeks a Cleaner-Tanker to service and clean a fleet of buses. Responsibilities include exterior cleaning, interior sanitation, and farebox vaulting to ensure ready-for-operation coaches each day.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, a valid Class B Wisconsin Driver's License with Passenger endorsement, and the ability to pass a mechanical aptitude test.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class B Wisconsin Driver's License with Passenger endorsement and Air Brakes restriction lifted.
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing (Mechanical Aptitude test).

Responsibilities

• Fuel buses, trucks and automobiles with appropriate fuels.
• Check all critical fluids on all transit equipment.
• Wash the exterior of all vehicles by hand or with automatic equipment.
• Maintain clean interiors of all vehicles according to Company policy.
• Probe and vault fareboxes.
• Operate buses through Buck cleaners, washers, over pit areas and onto hoists.
• Drive and park buses and other vehicles in appropriate locations.
• Complete work within established times.
