Job summary

West Seneca Central School District is seeking a full-time Bus Attendant for the 10-month work year. The role supports students, interacts with drivers and school staff, and helps ensure safe transportation. Approximate hours are 6:15 am to 9:15 am and 1:15 pm to 4:15 pm, five days a week, totaling about 4–6 hours per day.

Responsibilities emphasize following instructions, dependability, and good judgment. Candidates must be fingerprinted under NYS Department of Education regulations.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow simple oral and written instructions.
• Ability to work well with drivers, students, school personnel, and the Transportation Department.
• Ability to understand students in their care.
• Good judgment; dependability; common sense in exercising control; patience.
