School Bus Aide

This position is for the Atlantic County Special Services School District.

Qualifications

1. High School Diploma preferred
2. Must possess and maintain CPR and First Aid
3. Certification, or obtain within 60 calendar days of employment.
4. Experience with disabled pupils preferred.
5. Be in good physical and mental health. Capable of lifting, positioning and caring for disabled children.
6. Be of good character and reputation.
7. Be able to take direction and supervision.
8. Be responsible, dependable, self-reliant, and display initiative.
9. Be sensitive to the nature and needs of the disabled and their families.
10. Required Criminal History background check and proof of U.S. Citizenship or legal resident alien status.
11. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may deem appropriate.
