Burnet Sanitation - Maintenance Rep - Part-Time

Join the H-E-B team in Burnet, TX as a Maintenance Representative. This part‑time role focuses on ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers while supporting store operations.

Responsibilities

• Sanitation:
  • Maintain store cleanliness and safety with a sense of urgency.
  • Collect trash and debris from flower beds and yards surrounding the store.
  • Use H-E-B chemical program and organize maintaince room stock.
  • Wash windows and mirrors throughout the store.
  • Empty and clean trash receptacles as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards / SOPs.
• Maintenance:
  • Communicate maintenance needs, problems, or solutions to store leaders.
  • Perform minor repairs using simple hand tools.
  • Maintain ceiling air vents and replace light bulbs.
• Customer Service:
  • Work with and around customers, attending to their needs.
  • Assist customers in locating products.
  • Perform CSA duties when required.
• Work effectively in a fast‑paced environment and perform physically demanding tasks such as walking, reaching, lifting 50 lbs, and standing for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older (mandatory).
• Completion of Company Orientation, Basics of Safety training, and In‑store orientation.
• Knowledge of OSHA guidelines.
