Job summary

University Medical Center of Southern Nevada is seeking a registered nurse to join the ICU/critical care team, including burn care. You will deliver direct patient care to acutely ill individuals in a highly monitored setting, following established nursing principles and protocols.

Applicants must hold a Nevada RN license and BLS/ACLS at hire, with 1 year of ICU/burn experience preferred. A comprehensive benefits package includes an employer-paid pension plan and competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; NV RN license required.
• One year of critical care and burn care experience preferred.
• Nursing knowledge of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Ability to manage high-risk, critically ill patients with appropriate nursing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to acutely and critically ill patients.
• Administer medications and therapies per established protocols.
• Perform invasive nursing procedures and monitor patient status.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Maintain patient safety, documentation, and infection control practices.
