Job description

Join us as a Burger King Shift Leader at GPS Hospitality

We are seeking a Shift Leader to join our restaurant team. Shift Leaders are trained to perform all duties of Team Members and are responsible for directing daily restaurant operations in the absence of the Restaurant General Manager and Assistant Manager. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with company standards across all areas, including product preparation, customer service, restaurant maintenance, and team management.

Job Duties
  1. Ensure your team provides outstanding service and satisfied guests
  2. Train and coach team members
  3. Utilize GPS Hospitality Systems to manage restaurant operations effectively each shift
  4. Maintain high proficiency in restaurant operations and set a positive example
  5. Provide coaching and feedback to team members
  6. Supervise in line with GPS values, traits, and behaviors
  7. Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
  8. Enforce cash policies and address violations
  9. Perform any additional duties assigned by the Restaurant General Manager
Job Requirements
  • 0-2 years of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail setting
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a high-volume environment
  • Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the US
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform motions such as bending, squatting, twisting, pulling, and reaching
  • Work in warm and cold temperatures
  • Stand for 8-10 hours
  • Lift up to 20 lbs
