Job summary

Savard Group is seeking a Bundle Shop Foreman in Louisiana to lead a shop team in heat exchanger fabrication and repair. The role requires hands-on bundle assembly, tube work, welding, and hydrotesting, with strong reading of drawings and procedures.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with optional weekends; temp-to-perm, compensation around a weekly base with potential overtime based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Must have supervisory or foreman-level experience in a fabrication shop.
• Experience in heat exchanger manufacturing, repair, or similar heavy fabrication.
• Hands-on bundle assembly and disassembly experience.
• Experience with tube installation and tube expansion/rolling.
• Experience with structural welding and fit-up coordination.
• Experience with hydrotesting and final assembly operations.
• Familiarity with ASME and TEMA requirements.
• Ability to troubleshoot fit-up, alignment, and fabrication issues in real time.
• Ability to read and follow drawings, manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and quality requirements.
• Ability to supervise, train, and coordinate shop personnel while actively participating in production.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Oversee bundle shop operations and ensure workmanship meets specifications.
• Coordinate training and supervision of shop personnel while actively producing.
• Troubleshoot fit-up, alignment, and fabrication issues in real time.
• Ensure drawings and procedures are followed, and quality standards are met.
