Bull Ranch Hand (Clay Center, NE)

The U.S. Meat Animal Research Center (USMARC) is a 34,000‑acre facility near Clay Center, NE. All work performed at USMARC supports research that is focused on solving high priority problems for the U.S. beef, sheep, and swine industries.

Responsibilities
  • Provide care for a cattle barn and a 600+ yearling and mature herd of bulls, and related machinery.
  • Assist with pasture management.
  • Maintain machinery and fences.
  • Feed livestock.
  • Assist with the collection of research data.

Irregular hours, work in inclement weather, and travel between pastures and facilities are required.
