Job summary

Ally Waste is seeking a Bulk Tech Driver to service apartment communities along a daily route, loading and hauling bulky items to disposal sites. This is a physical, hands-on role with driving responsibilities and outdoor conditions.

The position is full-time and requires a valid non-CDL license, ability to lift 75 lbs repeatedly, and the stamina for extended driving. We offer competitive wages and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid non-CDL driver's license with at least 2 years of licensed driving.
• Clean driving record—verification after offer.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly throughout a shift.
• Comfort working outdoors, including landfill environments.
• Ability to work independently and stay on pace.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company truck and trailer on an assigned daily route.
• Check in, photograph, and document bulky items using our mobile app.
• Load and secure oversized items using proper lifting and stacking techniques.
• Haul items to the disposal facility and unload upon arrival.
• Complete scheduled pickups within established timeframes.
• Communicate property concerns or service exceptions to management promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow safety procedures.
• Report equipment issues, accidents, or incidents immediately.

Job description

As a Bulk Technician, you'll help keep apartment communities clean by removing furniture, oversized trash, and bulk items from resident properties. This is a physical, hands‑on role involving route driving, heavy lifting, and hauling materials to the landfill. We're looking for dependable team members who work hard, move efficiently, and take pride in getting the job done right.

Schedule & Pay

• Full Time
• Monday- Friday
• Overtime may be required
• Pay $20 - $22/ hr. (Depending on experience)

Bulk Tech Driver Responsibilities

• Drive a company truck and trailer to service properties along an assigned daily route.
• Check in, photograph, and document bulky items using our mobile app.

• Haul collected items to the assigned disposal facility and unload upon arrival.
• Complete scheduled pickups efficiently within established timeframes.
• Communicate property concerns, access issues, or service exceptions to management promptly.

• Report equipment issues, accidents, or incidents immediately.

Bulk Tech Driver Requirements

• Valid non-CDL driver's license with at least 2 consecutive years of licensed driving.
• Clean driving record - verified after offer
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs at a time
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs repeatedly throughout a shift.
• Comfortable operating a vehicle for extended periods and working in outdoor conditions, including landfill environments.
• Ability to work independently and stay on pace through a full shift.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in waste management, moving/hauling, construction labor, or a similar physically demanding role.
• Customer-facing experience in a service environment.
