Job summary

Buzzi Unicem USA seeks a Terminal Operator to support loading of cement via designated silos and railcars, ensuring safety and efficiency. You will learn other skills and build a career within a leading cement manufacturer.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, English proficiency, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 100 lbs. Overtime may be required in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Able to work extended hours, holidays and/or overtime as required.
• Speak, read, write and understand English.
• Ability to work independently, without constant supervision.
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs., sit/stand for extended periods, and handle varied terrain.

Responsibilities

• Load bulk trucks in a safe, efficient and timely manner from designated silos.
• Ensure each load meets customer specifications within legal limits.
• Spot railcars over the loading area and connect to unloading equipment.
• Monitor unloading process and operate gates, valves and blowers safely.
• Adhere to company safety policies and perform work safely.
• Clean terminal and grounds and obtain daily/weekly samples.
