Job summary

Stratas Foods is hiring a Process Operator I at our Hillside, NJ facility. The role focuses on controlling the tank farm area, handling rail cars and tank wagons, and maintaining GMP and safety standards. You will record production data, unload bulk product, and ensure smooth daily operations to meet production schedules.

Starting pay is $25.02 per hour. The job requires a high school diploma, ability to perform physically demanding tasks, and previous experience in a food facility is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma is required.
• Experience in fast-paced, ready-to-eat food facility is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage urgent situations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and GMP policies are followed in daily duties.
• Record operating data and required documentation.
• Unload bulk product and ingredients safely to meet production demands.
• Manufacture batches for production lines.
• Read and interpret formulas for product specifications and processing information.
• Monitor gauges and instruments to adjust materials for quality and safety.
• Support production by managing product supply valves.
