Our facility is located at 1815 West Spencer Street, Appleton, WI 54914

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Bulk Packaging Operator (6:00AM – 6:00PM) and Packaging (6:00AM – 6:00PM):

• Operate, set-up, and monitor the scale used for weight control on the pack line.
• Understand and communicate order requirements to crew members.
• Monitor and oversee the metal detector operation and document checks.
• Rotate through positions on the bulk line, including brine tending, every 3 hours minimum.
• Set up the line after cleaning, prepare packaging materials, and oversee line changeovers.
• Operate wrap machine as needed and transfer palletized product to the cheese warehouse using the tow motor.
• Transfer product to the cheese cooler.
• Assist in making boxes and preparing for upcoming orders on the packaging line.

Warehouse Operator (Various shifts):

• Receive and unload supplies and ingredients.
• Load finished goods, print documents, and coordinate with the distribution center.
• Perform weekly cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Use SharePoint schedules, complete R12 data entry, and MSS duties.
• Coordinate with powder warehouse for supplies and equipment movement.
• Report low inventory levels.
• Create LPNs, print pallet sheets, and scan items into inventory.
• Sample non-fat dry milk and salt, assist with receiving and storage of cultures.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS:

Forklift Certified

QUALIFICATIONS:

Effective Cognition:

• Communicate effectively with plant personnel.
• Work independently or as part of a team.
• Follow verbal instructions.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals in English.
• Perform basic math functions.
• Operate human-machine interfaces and computers.
• Tell time on analog or digital clocks.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

• Walk and stand on concrete for extended periods.
• Stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• Use hands to grip tools and operate machinery.
• Push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Visual requirements: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, focus adjustment.
• Work in extreme temperatures and damp environments.
• Wear PPE as required.
• Regularly lift/move up to 60 lbs.
