Job summary

J.M. Huber Corporation is seeking a Packaging Operator - Bulk at its Active Minerals International Kaolin Clay facility in Aiken, SC. The role involves packaging orders to work order specifications and performing related stopping tasks on a 12-hour night shift.

Entry rate starts at $19.47 per hour with a schedule of 6:00pm–6:00am; benefits include health coverage, 401(k) with company match, and potential discretionary bonus or profit-sharing. Emphasis on safety and ISO/QMS adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to operate a forklift with good eye-hand coordination.
• Knowledge of MSHA safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret packaging work orders.
• Identify materials for packaging bulk bags.
• Set up bulk bagger for correct weights and operation.
• Produce bulk bags on pallets or with slip sheets.
• Operate stretch-wrap machine.
• Operate forklift to move pallets and clean up.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Prepare placards with product name and lot number.
• Collect samples for QC lab.
• Follow QMS procedures and ISO requirements.
