Job summary

Kemira is seeking a Bulk Material Handler in Washougal, WA to support manufacturing by moving, storing, and supplying bulk raw materials and finished products throughout the facility. This role involves operating material handling equipment, maintaining inventory accuracy, and coordinating deliveries with third-party carriers in a safety-driven environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, basic computer and math skills, and forklift experience or CDL preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• CDL preferred but not required.
• Manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience preferred.
• Forklift certification or experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety, environmental, quality, and operating procedures.
• Load and unload trucks, railcars, storage tanks, and trailers.
• Safely transport raw materials and finished products throughout the facility.
• Move and stage trailers within the plant using a semi truck.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely material availability for production.
• Coordinate shipment schedules with third-party carriers.
• Perform inventory, billing, and material transactions accurately.
• Support inventory counts, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Call-outs (overtime) on weekends are a regular occurrence.
