Job summary

Fieldale Farms Corp. is hiring for a night-shift truck driver to deliver feed between farms. The role requires following state and federal motor carrier laws, adhering to ticket directions, and ensuring deliveries go to the correct farm location.

Responsibilities include inspecting vehicles, documenting hazards, filling spill reports for ruptured lines, and submitting them to the dispatcher. CDL A and a DOT medical card are mandatory, with farm-delivery experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• DOT medical card required.
• Experience with farm deliveries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow all State & Federal motor carrier laws & regulations.
• Follow printed directions on delivery tickets to and from farms to insure feed is taken to correct farm.
• Make sure the right house & bin on farm gets worked.
• Complete Spill Report Form for any busted hydraulic line and submit to dispatcher on duty.
• Fuel, clean, check fluid levels of truck and perform daily pre/post trip inspections; document hazards or defects and take to truck shop for repair.

• Making sure the right house & bin on farm gets worked.
• Busted hydraulic line- driver is required to fill out Spill Report Form and turn it to dispatcher on duty.
• Fuel, clean, check fluid levels of truck & do daily pre/post trip inspections. All hazards or defects are to be documented then took to truck shop for repair.
