Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English and interact with the public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Regularly lift up to 25 lbs, frequently up to 45 lbs, occasionally up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision the Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk provides friendly, courteous and helpful service.
• Assist customers, clean, fill and rotate cheese and deli displays.
• Two shifts: morning replenishment and customer assistance throughout the shift.
• Maintain cleanliness of the department throughout the shift.
• Reference the complete Job Description located in the store.
• Food Handler Card or equivalent certification is required.
