Qualifications

• Reads and writes Spanish/English and can interact with customers and coworkers.
• Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, labels, pricing codes, and memos.
• Writes simple correspondence and presents information in one-on-one or small group settings.
• Follows detailed, but not complex, written or oral instructions with common sense.
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally and up to 45 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and maintain clean, rotated cheese and deli displays.
• Support two-shift operation with morning replenishment and customer service throughout a shift.
• Keep the department clean and organized during the shift.
• Work in a fast-paced grocery environment with required visual and auditory attention.
• Ensure compliance with Food Handler Card or equivalent food handling certification.
