Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with the public and co‑workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift/move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.
• Food Handler Card or equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling and serving food.
• Two shifts: the morning shift begins by replenishing product as instructed by the Bulk Deli Manager or Assistant Manager.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and maintain deli displays.
• Replenish and rotate cheese displays.
• Maintain cleanliness of the Bulk Deli area.
• Support morning shift duties as directed by managers.
• Perform lifting and standing for extended periods.
