Job summary

JLL is seeking an Operating/Building Engineer to keep our facilities performing at peak levels across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems. You will operate, repair, and maintain complex building systems, manage contractor work, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

A strong background in CMMS (Corrigo) and BAS is preferred. We require 5+ years with commercial building systems, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work in varied environmental

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
• Ability to analyze operation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems and take corrective action.
• Working knowledge of CMMS (Corrigo).
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and repair Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems and associated equipment.
• Record equipment readings and adjust parameters to ensure proper operation.
• Monitor maintenance by outside contractors to ensure standards and costs.
• Maintain facility services, purchasing and inventory control, and coordination of contracted maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair lighting systems and plumbing fixtures.
• Comply with safety policies for hazardous materials and maintain a clean, safe workplace.
