Job summary

Integral Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team. You will perform maintenance and housekeeping around the community, address service requests, and ensure repairs across grounds, buildings and units are completed promptly and cost-effectively.

You should have at least one year of maintenance experience, be able to respond to emergencies, handle multiple priorities, and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• One year maintenance experience.
• Ability to be on call if needed.
• General understanding of plumbing, electrical, mechanical and code compliance.
• Knowledge of OSHA, fire prevention, life and safety regulations.
• Ability to respond to emergency calls outside of scheduled work hours.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties in and around the community grounds as assigned.
• Complete service requests for repair and maintenance of grounds, buildings, apartment homes, equipment and vehicles in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
• Fix walls/floor coverings; repair furniture/fixtures; basic plumbing; minor electrical; appliance repairs; painting and refurbishing; operate heating/air systems, refrigeration, carpet and hard-surface maintenance; prepare rooms as needed.

Our community is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Performing maintenance and housekeeping duties in and around the community grounds as assigned.
• Performs routine maintenance duties to complete all service requests for repair and maintenance of all grounds, buildings, apartment homes, equipment and vehicles in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
• Routine maintenance duties may include: fixing wall and/or floor coverings; repairing furniture and fixtures; performing basic plumbing work; performing minor electrical repairs; repairing appliances; painting and refurbishing projects, working with heating and air systems, refrigeration systems, carpet and hard surface maintenance and “make ready” rooms as assigned.

• Has a general understanding of systems including: plumbing, electrical, mechanical and code compliance.
• Possess a general understanding of OSHA, fire prevention, life and safety regulations.
