Job summary

University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) Rockford campus is seeking a Building Service Worker to perform custodial tasks and maintain cleanliness across facility spaces. The role is on-site with a standard 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. schedule and one opening.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; preferred 1–3 years of janitorial experience. The position is located on campus and benefits eligibility applies under the university's plans.

• Provide services to facility users by moving furniture and setting up for meetings and special events.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Position Summary

This position is located at the UIC Health Sciences campus - Rockford. The Building Service Worker performs all necessary custodial work to keep floors, walls, windows, furniture, and bathrooms in a clean, sanitary condition and to maintain housekeeping standards.
