Job summary

WoodMaster Portable Buildings, a Division of Tuff Shed, is seeking a Building Repair Technician to maintain and repair portable buildings and to open/close dealer lots.

The position requires basic construction experience, knowledge of power tools, and the ability to travel up to 100% with overnight stays. This full-time role includes a competitive benefits package and opportunities to grow within a nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of power tools and machinery.

Job description

WoodMaster Portable Buildings, a Division of Tuff Shed, the industry leader in storage buildings, is currently looking for a Building Repair Technicianbased out of our Plant location. We're looking for motivated and team oriented individuals!

The Building Repair Technician performs maintenance and repairs on portable buildings, opens/closes or resets dealer's lots.

Essentials job duties include but are not limited to:

Maintenance and Repair of Portable Buildings

• Perform any and all maintenance on any WMPB buildings on lots
• Perform requested maintenance/repairs on customer WMPB buildings
• Take Inventory of buildings on any sales lot location

Open/Close/Reset Dealer Lots

• Set lot display per Dealer Manager specification
• Align, level and reset lot display per specifications
• Collect all WMPB sales items, signs at time of lot closures
• Install/Remove signage on sales lot as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Basic construction experience (painting, roofing, etc.) and the use of power tools and machinery
• Strong customer service skills and ability professionally with customers
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and trouble shooting
• Ability to solve problems using sound logic and good business judgement
• Ability to work well in a team
• Ability to read, write and understand instructions given orally, in writing, and in diagram form
• Ability to travel with a qualified DOT certified driver, up to 100% with overnight stays

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 1 year experience in construction or manufacturing preferred

EDUCATION:

• High school diploma or equivalent

TRAVEL:

• This position requires approximately 100% travel within assigned area with overnight stays and/or across state line with a qualified DOT driver
