Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) seeks a Maintenance Technician for building operations in Naples, FL. This entry‑level role provides hands‑on experience across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry, with growth opportunities in the engineering field.

Schedule is 7am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday. You will support the engineering team, complete work orders, maintain tools and safety practices, and participate in training programs to strengthen your technical skills for a rewarding facilities maintenance

Qualifications

• 3 years of related work experience in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing or carpentry.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the engineering team in maintenance and repair of building and equipment.
• Perform general maintenance including carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and/or painting.
• Complete assigned work orders and maintain service documentation.
• Maintain tools, parts, equipment and supplies in clean and safe conditions.
• Work under the direction of Operations Manager and Senior Maintenance Technician.
• Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational trainings.
• Support on-call or emergency response situations (if applicable).
• Contribute to other projects and tasks as assigned.

Maintenance Technician - Building Operations, Facilities Services

The Maintenance Technician supports operation, inspection, and light maintenance processes to mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities. This is an entry-level position and can provide opportunities for growth in the engineering field.

What your day‑to‑day will look like:

• Assist the engineering team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment
• Perform general maintenance including carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and/or painting
• Complete assigned work orders and maintain appropriate service documentation
• Maintain tools, parts, equipment and supplies in clean and safe conditions
• Work closely under the direction of Operations Manager, Senior Maintenance Technician and other team members
• Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs
• Support on‑call or emergency response situations (if applicable)
• Contribute to other projects and tasks as assigned

Required qualifications:

• 3 years of related work experience, especially in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry
• Strong customer service skills

Physical qualifications:

• Physical capabilities to lift 80 lbs, work at heights, and in confined spaces
• Comfort using ladders up to 30 feet tall
• Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneel, lift and/or drive

Preferred qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of building automation systems
• Trade school, union training, military service or college education is desirable
• Experience working in commercial or institutional facilities
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail
