Vertiv is seeking an experienced BMS Engineer to design and implement temperature control and automation systems across HVAC, lighting, access control, CCTV, and industrial automation applications. The role requires ownership of projects, collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, and hands-on PLC/SCADA development.
The successful candidate will work on PLC architectures, control panels, wiring, and I/O, and may support software engineering and industrial networking efforts.
The BMS Engineer is responsible for the design and execution of temperature control and automation systems, including PLC- and SCADA-based solutions. This role collaborates closely with other engineering disciplines to develop complete and coordinated design packages, ensuring alignment across electrical power, control panels, relay logic, wiring, PLC hardware, I/O, and associated control devices. Systems supported include HVAC, access control, lighting, CCTV, and industrial automation applications.
This position requires the application of sound engineering judgment, leadership, and practical experience to independently take ownership of assigned projects. The role may also support software engineering and industrial networking activities, including PLC programming, SCADA/HMI development, and industrial communications.
60% Domestic travel is an essential requirement on this position. International travel may be required.
