Job summary

New Hanover County Schools in Wilmington, North Carolina seeks a Building Management DDC Coordinator to develop and maintain a DDC program, monitor and coordinate repairs to computerized HVAC systems, cooling towers, and fuels for heating boiler systems.

This full-time role reports to the Skilled Trades Supervisor and requires an Associate Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (preferred), five years in commercial building engineering with BMS/DDC experience, vendor training or ISA

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred in Engineering/Engineering Technology.
• Five years of experience in commercial building engineering with BMS/DDC.
• Training in DDC systems operation, programming and maintenance by major control vendor or ISA certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a DDC program for the district.
• Monitor and coordinate repairs to computerized HVAC systems, cooling towers, and fuel for heating boiler systems.

Education

Associate Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (preferred)

Five years of commercial building engineering experience

Training/ISA certification related to DDC systems operation, programming, maintenance

• 4. Valid North Carolina driver's license.

Reports to: Skilled Trades Supervisor

Job goal: To develop and maintain a DDC program, monitor and coordinate repairs to computerized HVAC systems, cooling towers, and fuel for heating boiler systems.

Salary: Grade 73
