Job summary

The City of Bowie is seeking an individual to perform basic janitorial tasks such as cleaning restrooms, dusting, and mopping, along with other facility maintenance duties. Hours are Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM.

Required: High School Diploma and a valid driver’s license; preferred candidates have custodial experience and knowledge of cleaning practices and equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Light lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic janitorial tasks including cleaning restrooms, dusting, and mopping.
• Handle other facility maintenance oriented duties as assigned.

The City of Bowie is seeking an individual with the ability to perform basic janitorial tasks including cleaning restrooms, dusting, mopping, etc., as well as other facility maintenance oriented duties. Hours: Monday thru Friday 6 AM -9 AM.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Valid Driver’s License
• Light lifting (up to 50 pounds).

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-year experience in routine custodial work.
• Knowledge of building cleaning, green building cleaning practices, supplies, and equipment.
• Knowledge of operation and care of janitorial equipment.

SALARY: $20.55 Hourly
