Responsibilities

  • Perform general facility and grounds maintenance, including trash removal and landscaping support.
  • Assist in setup and teardown of event spaces (chairs, tables, A/V equipment).
  • Clean facilities, perform minor plumbing repairs and replace bulbs/filters.
  • Inspect and maintain equipment, ensure safety and proper storage.
  • Maintain Safety Data Sheets and proper handling of chemicals and cleaners.
  • Report safety hazards or needed repairs to supervisors.
  • Document property condition reports and facility status.
  • Inspect building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and address minor issues.
  • Collaborate with maintenance staff and contractors on projects.
  • Perform seasonal tasks (de-icing, pressure washing, weather damage checks).
  • Assist with inventory of supplies and equipment; place orders as needed.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests to minimize disruption.
  • Ensure compliance with safety signage and emergency procedures.
  • Support sustainability initiatives (recycling, energy conservation).
