Children’s National Hospital in the United States seeks a skilled Painter to decorate and protect interior surfaces, applying paints, varnishes, stains, wallpaper, enamels and lacquers. You will prep surfaces, perform small repairs and support ongoing facility operations within Facility Management.
You will also procure materials, perform low-level installations, furniture assembly, and assist with plumbing, electrical, carpentry and plastering tasks as needed.

High School Diploma or GED (required)
5 years of painting and related experience (Required)
6 years experience as a full-fledged tradesman (Required)
1 year related and progressive experience (Required)
1 year general maintenance, carpentry , mechanical/plumbing and electrical experience (Required)
Familiarity with automated work order systems
Ability to use internet
Willingness to learn new software or programs related to field
Carpentry, mechanical/plumbing and electrical experience
Valid driver’s license (Required)
The disclosed salary range includes the minimum and maximum rates within which Children’s National believes an individual’s base pay rate will fall for this position. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the maximum of the pay range. The exact pay rate for this position will be based on a variety of factors in alignment with the Children’s National compensation philosophy. These factors are legitimate and non-discriminatory including, but not limited to, the current market conditions; organizational needs; the individual’s combination of prior work experience, level of education, knowledge, skills, and other qualifications.
