Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks an HVAC/Refrigeration Technician to join its facilities maintenance team. You will perform repairs and preventative maintenance on heating, ventilation, air conditioning and other mechanical equipment across guest rooms and public spaces.

The role requires knowledge of life-safety systems, a minimum of 2 years HVAC/R experience or trade school training, and flexibility to work mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

  • 2 years HVAC/R experience or equivalent trade school training preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of all major building systems, including life-safety systems.
  • Must fulfill a flexible schedule to include mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on HVAC/R and other mechanical equipment.
  • Troubleshoot issues in guest rooms, meeting spaces, and front-/back-of-house areas.
  • Work across kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems to maintain operations.

An HVAC/Refrigeration Technician is part of the hotel's facilities maintenance team and performs repairs and preventative maintenance on heating, ventilation, air conditioning and other mechanical equipment. This individual will also be responsible for trouble-shooting all areas of maintenance in guest rooms, meeting spaces, and front of house areas, as well as back of house areas including kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
