Job description

Rotating between Day shift 6am-230pm or mid shift 10am-6:30pm

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience as a Building Maintenance Engineer or similar facilities role.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including manual restart procedures.
• Knowledge of power systems, generators, and switchgear operation.
• Familiarity with monitoring medium‑voltage electrical systems (13,800V).
• Ability to troubleshoot electronics and building systems.
• Capability to perform minor plumbing work.
• Electrical work is minimal, but electrical system awareness is required

Job Description

The Building Maintenance Engineer is responsible for supporting a Class A, mission‑critical facility with data center operations, where zero downtime and rapid response are mandatory. This role requires strong HVAC knowledge, power and generator awareness, and the ability to prioritize and respond to issues immediately and professionally. The engineer will operate in a high‑expectation, non‑relaxed environment with live utility power, on‑site generators, and monitored medium‑voltage electrical systems.
