Job summary

CBRE Maintenance Technician role located in the United States focuses on maintaining small to medium buildings and industrial systems. The position reports to site management and uses a company vehicle to travel between nearby sites for preventive maintenance and repairs.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with an on-call rotation about every eight weeks. Background checks, drug screening, MVR, and pre-employment physical are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of job-related experience.
• Must meet the physical requirements of the role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information and proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

About The Role

As a CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment.

About The Role

As a CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

This position reports to the same location each morning and utilizes a company-provided vehicle to travel to various sites within the surrounding area to perform maintenance and repair work. As a condition of employment, candidates must successfully pass a background check, drug screening (including marijuana), motor vehicle record (MVR) review, and a pre-employment physical. CBRE provides a company vehicle with a gas card, uniforms, personal protective equipment (PPE), a company phone, tablet, and all tools necessary to perform the job.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with an on-call rotation of one week approximately every eight weeks.

What You’ll Do

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.

What You’ll Need

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
