Job summary

NCG Hospitality is hiring a Building Maintenance Assistant in Wisconsin. Starting at $17.50/hour, experienced candidates may qualify for a higher wage. Flexible availability Monday to Friday, weekends, and holidays, with morning and evening shifts available.

6 months to 1 year of hands-on maintenance experience is required; hotel experience is preferred. This role focuses on maintaining guest rooms and property, including preventative tasks and routine upkeep.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of general maintenance or related hands-on experience.
• Hotel experience is preferred.
• General knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building construction.
• Operation knowledge of common power and hand tools.
• Ability to perform task-oriented repetitive functions consistently, on-time and error free.

Responsibilities

• Responds to maintenance requests and supports upkeep of the property.
• Performs guest room preventative maintenance: painting, battery replacement, smoke detector checks, HVAC cleaning.
• Maintains grounds, landscaping, outbuildings and parking areas in a clean, safe state.
• Assists in maintaining pool, spa and general areas per codes and brand standards.
• Responds promptly to reports of guest problems and concerns.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Our detail‑oriented Building Maintenance Assistant responds to maintenance requests, and supports the overall upkeep of the property.

• Performs guest room preventative maintenance duties such as painting, battery replacement, smoke detector checks and HVAC cleaning
• Maintains the grounds, landscaping, outbuildings and parking areas in a clean, neat, safe and attractive manner
• Assists in maintaining pool, spa and general area of the property according to specific local codes and brand standards
• Promptly responds to reports of guest problems and concerns

To Be Successful In This Role, You’ll Bring

• Prior hotel, building or apartment maintenance experience is desirable, but not necessary
• General knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building construction
• Operation knowledge of common power and hand tools
