Job summary

Aoka is seeking a certified Building Inspector to oversee construction projects, ensure code compliance and safety, and guide contractors on site in Waxahachie, TX. This role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in building inspections.
Current ICC certifications; Texas license required (TSBPE Plumbing Inspector).
Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety standards.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
Willingness to learn new inspection software.

Responsibilities

Inspect construction projects to ensure compliance with plans, codes, and safety standards.
Review project documents, attend pre-construction meetings, and coordinate with contractors/local authorities.
Maintain detailed records and prepare timely professional reports.
Address client/contractor questions with expert guidance.
Participate in training and company initiatives.
