Job summary

Aoka in San Antonio, TX seeks a Building Inspector to ensure compliance with plans, codes and safety standards, inspecting construction projects.

You will review documents, coordinate with contractors, and maintain detailed reports. Eligible candidates hold ICC certifications and the Texas TSBPE Plumbing Inspector License.

Qualifications

• Must have ICC certifications and Texas license.
• Minimum 2 years of building inspections experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction projects to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, codes, and safety standards.
• Review project documents, attend pre-construction meetings, and coordinate with contractors.
• Maintain detailed records and prepare timely, professional reports.
• Address questions and concerns from clients and contractors, providing expert guidance.
• Participate in training and company initiatives.
