Job summary

Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH) seeks a Consulting Engineer to manage small to mid-size projects focusing on design, investigation, and repairs of existing buildings. You’ll lead teams, coordinate with architects and contractors, and document fieldwork.

Required are a PE or RA license and 5+ years in engineering or construction management, plus ability to travel to multiple job sites as needed. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Architectural Engineering; master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of architectural/engineering or construction management experience.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Registered Architect (R.A.) license required.

Responsibilities

• Act as project manager for small to medium projects.
• Design, investigate, and design repairs for existing buildings.
• Manage multiple projects with supervision of staff and client relationships.
• Maintain professional relationships in their field and travel to multiple job sites.
