Belmont Village Senior Living is seeking a part-time Building Engineer Assistant to support the Building Engineer in maintenance across the community and grounds. You bring hands-on experience in general maintenance, basic plumbing, drywall patching and painting.

This schedule is Thursday to Saturday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, and the role emphasizes hospitality, resident satisfaction and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year maintenance experience in apartment, senior living, hotel or comparable setting.
• Proficient reading, comprehension, writing and mathematical ability.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Ability to work assigned shift which may include early morning, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community.
• Offers of employment are contingent upon completion of applicable post-offer pre-employment screenings, which may include a job-related background check, drug screening, physical examination, and TB testing, consistent with applicable laws.

ABOUT THE ROLE

(Part Time) Thursday to Saturday 9am to 5:30pm

As a Building Engineer Assistant at Belmont Village Senior Living, you will provide maintenance assistance and support to the Building Engineer in all areas of general maintenance for the community and grounds. Building Engineer Assistants have knowledge and prior hands-on experience in the areas of general maintenance, basic plumbing, dry wall patching and painting. The ideal candidate is reliable, takes pride in their work, and demonstrates empathy. They excel in a fast-paced, physically active position, collaborate effectively, and embrace a growth mindset, prioritizing exceptional hospitality and helping seniors to thrive as they age.

YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the Building Engineer with preventative and routine maintenance as assigned including basic plumbing repairs, dry wall repairs, painting and general upkeep of the community and grounds
