Job summary

Kirco-Management-Services-Ltd is seeking a Building Engineer/General Maintenance professional to support the upkeep, safety, and appearance of multiple commercial properties. The role requires occasional travel between properties and a hands-on approach to daily maintenance.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance, basic plumbing, light electrical, carpentry, and BAS monitoring. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are required to serve several sites effectively.

Qualifications

• Experience in general building or facilities maintenance.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry repairs.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems and BAS a plus.
• Life safety or NFPA inspection experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between properties.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance and repairs (lighting, ceiling tiles, patch/paint, minor carpentry).
• Complete basic plumbing repairs (faucets, toilets, traps, Sloan valves, shut-offs).
• Provide limited HVAC support including filter changes, thermostat use, and BAS monitoring (no system adjustments).
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, restrooms, sidewalks, and outdoor spaces.
• Assist with seasonal needs such as snow removal.
• Respond to leaks, odors, roof issues, and maintenance emergencies.
• Travel between multiple properties as needed to perform maintenance and inspections.
• Communicate effectively with Property Managers, tenants, and vendors.

Salary Range: $25.00 To $30.00 Hourly

We are seeking a dependable and proactive Building Engineer / General Maintenance professional to support the maintenance, safety, and appearance of multiple commercial properties. This role requires occasional travel between assigned properties and a hands-on approach to addressing daily maintenance needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance and repairs (lighting, ceiling tiles, patch/paint, minor carpentry)
• Complete basic plumbing repairs (faucets, toilets, traps, Sloan valves, shut-offs)
