Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Jacksonville, Fl. For a Building Engineer. The Building Engineer will be responsible for daily facility operations which includes overseeing and performing preventive maintenance, addressing maintenance and repair needs, and managing plumbing and HVAC systems for two locations. The position ensures the smooth operation of building systems and supports the overall functionality of the facility by identifying and resolving technical or mechanical issues.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Building Maintenance and Facility Management (FM) to oversee day-to-day operational needs
• Skilled in Plumbing to inspect, maintain, and repair minor plumbing systems as necessary
• Experienced in Maintenance & Repair and Preventive Maintenance to ensure equipment and systems operate efficiently
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Proficiency in understanding and adhering to safety regulations and standards
• Availability for occasional after-hours emergency situations
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional trade or technical certifications are a plus
• Previous experience in building operations or a related field is highly desirable
• knowledge of pneumatic mechanical systems
