Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years in commercial building operations/engineering.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and make independent decisions.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with smartphones/work order systems.
• Current and valid driver's license.
• Lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular assessments of building systems.
• Perform minor repairs, preventative maintenance, and respond to service requests for interior and exterior equipment.
• Manage work orders for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire systems.
• Proactively maintain an ongoing task list for the property management team.
• Serve as primary contact for vendors, overseeing check-in/out and escorting them to work areas while documenting work.
• Assist with fire panel and extinguisher inspections.
• Ensure a safe job site and adhere to safety standards.
• Operate professionally in line with company values.

About the Position:

We are looking for a dedicated individual to provide world-class service at our commercial buildings in Atlanta, GA

As a Building Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining the property’s physical condition and safeguarding it against damage, loss, and deterioration.

The ideal candidate is proactive, self-motivated, and versatile - a true jack of all trades.

Typical Hours: 1st shift

What you'll be doing:
